A Little About Me.

 I never really know where to start when it comes to writing tidbits about myself but here we go! My name is Maria and I am so happy to meet you! I was born on the PI and raised on the Big Island of Hawai'i! When not chasing after my toddler, dog, or husband, I work full time singing, exercising, and playing BINGO with our elders in a local nursing home. 

As I reflect on my passions and what motivates me in life, it becomes clear that people are my true source of inspiration. After years of working in a nursing home, I found great joy in connecting with others, hearing their stories, and supporting people through life's ups and downs.

I picked up a camera at the beginning of the Covid-19 lockdown. During this period, I realized the significance of preserving life's moments through photography. What was once just a pastime for me, evolved into a newfound passion that combined well with my affection for people.
